What it does

Use this to see and bulk-strip hidden personal-data traces (location, author, device, dates) from files, audit a folder for what metadata each file carries, bulk-write metadata such as title, author and tags to the files in a folder, or run a privacy review for GDPR/KVKK compliance.

How to use it

  1. 1Add many files.
  2. 2Pick fields to strip (author, location, date, etc.) or "Strip All".
  3. 3Click Scrub.
  4. 4Pick a folder.
  5. 5Fill in the fields to write: title, author, subject, tags, copyright, comment, album, genre, year.
  6. 6Click Write. The metadata is written in bulk to the supported files in the folder.

Inspect one photo's metadata

Inspect tab, drag the photo. EXIF, GPS, camera info appear.

Privacy report for a folder

Batch Report, pick the folder, scan. See which files have GPS, which have author info.
