COOKIE POLICY

Bilgetek Cookie Policy

Effective date: June 1, 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on bilgetek.com. It applies to the website as a whole.

1. What is a cookie?

Cookies are small text files saved to your browser when you visit a website. They help the site perform basic functions and remember your preferences.

2. Cookies and technologies we use

  • Hosting (Cloudflare): the site is served via Cloudflare. Technical identifiers may be used for connection security and performance.
  • Web Analytics (Cloudflare): we measure visit counts in a cookieless way. This analytics uses no cookies and does not personally identify you.
  • Security: we do not use a captcha on the contact form. Bot protection relies on a hidden field (honeypot) and a per-IP submission limit; neither uses cookies.
  • We do not use cookies. Language is determined by the /tr/ or /en/ prefix in the address, which needs no cookie.
  • Browser storage (sessionStorage): the selections you make in the price estimator are held temporarily in your tab so they can travel to the contact form (bilgetek:web-brief and bilgetek:web-brief-data). This data is not sent to us, it is deleted when you close the tab, and it is cleared once your request is submitted.

3. Cookies we do NOT use

  • Marketing or advertising cookies.
  • Third-party ad-network pixels (e.g. Meta Pixel).
  • Tracking cookies for behavioral profiling.
  • Google Analytics or similar third-party tracking tools.

4. Managing cookies

Since the site sets no cookies, there is nothing to block. If you block browser storage the site still works; your price-estimator selections simply will not carry over to the contact form and you would need to type the details in yourself.

5. Updates
