Bilgetek Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 10, 2026

Bilgetek builds business websites and custom software for companies. This policy explains how data of people who visit bilgetek.com, reach out via the contact form, or start a project discussion is handled.

Data controller

Within this disclosure, the data controller is Bilgetek (Istanbul, Türkiye). Contact: privacy@bilgetek.com

What we collect

  • Contact form: name, email, optional company, message body. Used solely to handle your request.
  • Server access logs (via Cloudflare): IP, user agent, request time. Kept short-term for attack detection and performance.
  • Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless, collects no personal data, no cross-site tracking). No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or similar third-party SDKs.
  • Conversion measurement: page views, phone/email/WhatsApp clicks and successfully submitted enquiries are stored on Cloudflare as daily totals by source category, page group and language. These counters contain no IP address, user ID, full URL or form content. A link click does not prove that a conversation took place.
  • The source category and initial page group are kept in your tab with a 30-minute expiry. If you send an enquiry, this context is also included in the enquiry email. This measurement is disabled when your browser enables Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.

What we do NOT collect

  • Browsing behavior via third-party cookies/pixels.
  • Device fingerprints.
  • Third-party ad-network data.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies at all. Language lives in the address (/tr/ and /en/) rather than in a cookie, so there is no preference to remember. There are no marketing, analytics or tracking cookies.

Data retention

Contact-form correspondence is kept for 3 years after the request is resolved, then deleted or anonymized. Server access logs are kept at most 90 days.

Third parties

  • Cloudflare: site hosting (Pages), CDN, DDoS protection and privacy-friendly Web Analytics (cookieless).
  • Resend: delivery of contact-form messages as email.
  • Information collected from your company is never shared with advertising or sales third parties.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your data or a summary of records we hold about you. Write to privacy@bilgetek.com and we respond within 30 days.

Updates

When this policy changes meaningfully, the effective date at the top of the page is updated.
