Disk Cleaner (Sanitizer)

What it does

Use this to free up disk space, clear accumulated junk, wipe browser cache and recent-use traces for privacy, or find and remove duplicate copies of the same file in a folder.

How to use it

1. 1Press Scan; the tool scans the categories.
2. 2Results are listed per category (Temporary files, Browser cache, Recycle Bin, Recent items and traces, Browser cookies, Needs caution).
3. 3Safe categories are checked by default; the "needs caution" ones (Windows.old, logs) are checked manually.
4. 4Press Clean selected; it reports how much space was freed.
5. 5Pick a folder and scan it.
6. 6Files with identical content (compared by hash) are listed in groups.
